Georgetown Shakedown

In a bizarre turn of events, more arrests are reported to have been made on Georgetown campus in reported relation to Saturday's discovery of the DMT Lab on Harbin 9. Various witnesses have confirmed seeing a Harbin resident carried towards the DPS station in handcuffs.

Additionally, DC is under a tornado watch.

While we do not suspect that these two incidences are related, we will certainly be sending our affiliates out to investigate. Between tornadoes and

Original GTL Staff Returns to the Airwaves

radio-tower-225.jpg

After back to back absences of one of the original hosts for the past two weeks, Nate and Alex are back and ready to kick off Sunday's program in the spirit of September (meaning we're both actually there.) Special shoutout to Evan for tripling Tipex's popularity in the States as a guest host on a college radio show. Keep up the good work.
We've got great programs planned for the next two weeks in the final stretch before the midterm elections. Complete with mundane exit-polling election predictions, forays into the dangerous world of the Georgetown politiques, and a special guest for the 31st, there's sure to be some good listening.

Still Working on the recording situation. In the meantime, we're going to start using the blog for discussion between the shows. Shoot us an email at contact.gtalklive@gmail.com with any video or article you'd like to see online.
Keep it classy America,

First Show!

G-Talk Live got off to a fairly decent start today with our first 11-12 show at the WGTB studio. Topics included the GOP Pledge to America, the failure of Don't Ask, Don't Tell repeal, and tea party nominees Sharron Angle, Carl Paladino, and Christine O'Donnell. At least, that's where we started - witchcraft and Alex's social life reared their ugly heads at a few points throughout the show.

Tune in next week for another hour of GTL - 11am-12pm Sunday streaming live at georgetownradio.com.

Alex and Nate
